The lid is embedded with an antique-looking owl charm, you are able to see through the charm into the box.
The side is made from a single piece of wood cut as a living hinge, this allows light to be seen through the side.

To make this a really personal item the underside of the lid can be engraved with a message of your choice, or left blank.

The box is 5 cm in height and 7.5 cm across, which is approximately 2 inches by 3 inches.
